This is our new project. We will have in November, an operative house located in the outskirt part of the neighborhood of Manrique where we will assist 70 children between the ages of 3 and 12. These children live in precarious conditions where poverty and the lack of basic services (health and hygiene) predominate. Children are involuntary witnesses/participants of the armed conflict between gangs. Our goal is to provide the children with a safe place where they can express their goals, fears, and develop their intellect toward finding alternatives for a better life. Similar to those in Casa Karah, children will be provided with food, education, and receive medical, psychological and medical assistance on a daily basis.
